FAIR TAKES FIRST ENTRIES STARTING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

            The Central Washington State Fair is just around the corner.  In fact it is close enough that the Fair will be accepting entries starting Friday, September 11.   The Fair will take all quilt and sewing entries on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, from noon to 6 p.m. in the Modern Living Building.  These entries include both the Youth and Open Class divisions.

            Exhibitors wanting to enter the quilts or sewing items can enter the fairgrounds through gate 5 on those two days.

            Entries into the crafts and ceramics will be taken on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Modern Living Building.  Food Preservation entries will be taken Saturday, September 19^th from noon to 6 p.m., also in the Modern Living Building.  People entering those categories can bring their entries through gate 11.

            Photography, fine arts and woodcarving entries are scheduled to be received on Saturday and Sunday, September 19 & 20, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Ag Building through Gate 11.

            Baked goods entries will be received on Monday, September 21, from noon to 6 p.m. in the Modern Living Building through Gate 11.   Fruits and vegetables and other field crop entries will be taken on Wednesday, September 24, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Ag Building through Gate 11.

            Flowers may be entered Thursday, September 24, between 4 and 9 p.m.  Please bring floral entries to the Washington Building through gate 11. 

            While the deadline for entering livestock has passed, Fair officials have said that they will still accept livestock entries.
